Sorry, but I disagree, put their demands against inflation. If part time workers are making 15 dollars an hour why wouldn’t skilled laborers make more? Union’s are corrupt but no where near the scale of government and tax corruption.
The problem of too much money isn't solved with more money. Pay hikes won't bring back lost purchasing power. Now granted, we're already in the worst inflationary spiral in Western history and the only way to fix it would be nationwide firing squads, but even so the union gangsters are just fanning the flames and have been for decades.
As for corruption, all corruption is the same. The unions, the feds, onerous taxation, usury and debt culture. It all comes from the enemy that out forefathers didn't deal with a century ago. There isn't any meaningful difference between the various organs of the left.
I agree with you, the problem is that if we deny pay scales for skilled workers during inflation is that skilled workers will disappear. This is the harsh reality of economics. Their demands are to deal with the stupidity that brought us here. The unions already take their pay, at least in this case they are utilizing it properly and demanding a scale of pay to match inflation. The real problem is how our government is tyrannically gouging our economy for feelings over ability.
Fact of the matter is that skilled workers are already disappearing, nationwide across almost every industry. That's not something that is going to be forestalled.
As for economics, this is a symptom and not a cause. Inflation causes price hikes, and rather than demand it be fixed your average prole just demands more gas be poured on the proverbial fire. Their demands won't fix anything.
And especially as, being a union, they're part of the same leftist apparatus that caused this, I have no sympathy for them. I for one hope their agitating hastens the collapse.
Skilled worker made a massive resurgence under Trump, the reinvestment in American skilled labor across the board during those years prove it. I agree that unions wore out their welcome 50 years ago, but I will never hasten for any collapse in America. I want America to realize that democracy is a failed ideology and to reignite the constitutional republic that made us prosperous.
I want precisely the same thing, barring some advancements in outlawing degeneracy of various types.
I don't think it's going to happen without a collapse. Nor do I think such a collapse can be avoided. The DNC would need to be banned nationwide to prevent the continuous economic backsliding(since they're the direct and deliberate cause of it), and that won't happen without mass violence either since they openly rig elections.
There isn't a peaceful way out of the corner we've been backed into.
Labor racketeering strikes again. A 25% pay raise is what they're striking over.
It should be legal to shoot unionizers.

Don't worry. Railroads only account for about one third of the US supply chain.
I'm sure the effects of a strike on pricing and availability as we continue spiraling into inflation will be minimal.

Yes, that was sarcasm.
Don’t worry, it’s Russias fault
Also Trump's fault.
But you just said the same thing Ahaus said?
Blame Congress and the Executive (both Trump and Biden) for this. Inflation is killing people.
Can’t wait to see how this will impact the markets and inflation tomorrow!
