That's my take too. The only potential defense I could think of would be to claim the blow addled the shooter, and he wasn't tracking well, and felt in the moment there was still a threat. That's still a hard sell though, I'd imagine.
you can find videos of people in confrontations with niggers try to deescalate and walk away, only to get clocked in the back of the head similar to how the initial attack in this one went. It's not entirely unreasonable to think he was still a threat at that range.
What if in a situation like that, you tell the person you are going to place them under citizen's arrest for assault and battery? And then when they try to fight back you yell "Stop resisting!" and shoot them?
