It's thinking too small anyways. Rich is merely the accumulation of money. Wealth is access to goods and services. The Senior Executive Service and top ranks of the GS scale aren't necessarily rich, but they do have on demand access to any good or service available in the US.
Instead of eating the rich, I want to expropriate the wealthy. That justifies seizing the assets and dismantling everything from the CDC to Harvard to Blackrock.
... so why the mismatch between the area's prosperity (as indicating by the fact that the house prices are stupid) and the teacher's salary?
Would it not be better to fix that than institute some weird house-your-teacher scheme?
Also, given the way teaching is these days ... yeah, giving a teacher 24-hour-a-day access to children ... no?
