I don't think this will stop the climate hysteria from overrunning the Dutch farmers however. We're seeing the Netherlands being Sri Lanka'd in real time.
The Sri Lankans forced their president to flee the country. Will the Dutch do the same, or will they politely starve to death in the dark this winter like "civilized" Europeans?
The latter. There's another posting about the city of Haarlem banning meat adverts because of climate paranoia. So the green totalitarians operate at all levels of their government, which can't be sustained without the support of a good number of Dutch citizens. My guess is that the urban populations are onboard with the green agenda that will freeze and starve them to death.
Ironically, the people in the countryside have a better chance of surviving shortages of heat and food than the city-dwelling elites/leftists.
