Those countries wouldn't be friends with us regardless. They hate us for being "decadent" and Christian.
They don't hate you for being Christian. That was bullshit propaganda they fed to soldiers so they'd be more willing to drop white phosphorus onto civilians. Christians and jews are "people of the book" and therefore the muslims believe that God has commanded them to love and protect those people. It is literally against their religion to hate someone simply for being Christian.
