Ew, idealistic views of relationships.
This is literally how humanity has existed for thousands of years and what it will take for their existence to continue.
I believe he's actually said he wants science to make men pregnant. Talk about horseshoe theory.
I just want to avoid forgiving an enemy that hasn't done anything to deserve forgiveness.
Marriage in the past was considered a fair deal because you got someone who would help out around the house, doing chores that would take hours if you did them yourself.
But now, I don't need someone to stay home and do that for me. I can set all the appliances on before I go to work, and even at current energy prices, it's still far, far cheaper than providing for a whole extra person. That's not counting the lack of stress caused because you don't have to worry about drama she causes.
The agreement has to be changed to acknowledge that men are the people losing out. You don't even have to go into what women are like as people to acknowledge that the deal is based on outdated logic that has long been supplanted by technology.
I swear you are the Andrea Dworkin of men.
Did you know that her life partner married a man a few weeks after she died?
So I guess that means my greatest ally will be a closeted lesbian.
It's a metaphor, you fool. You hate women as much as she hated men.
For crying out loud, I am ACTUALLY AUTISTIC and I get this.
It's called a joke.
That's the issue. Portraying the ideal is how people get suckered into the worst possible situations.
But you have to portray and promote the ideal to give people something to strive towards, even if they will never reach it. It's like following the example of Christ and being free of sin; impossible, but something we should strive towards regardless.
