I guess I’m naive. I was honestly thinking Chauvin wouldn’t get anything worse than manslaughter because to prove murder would be impossible. But that was foolish of me

Yea. I honestly don’t get how he doesn’t appeal. I have a good friend who still thinks it was all a set up to foment riots.
He made some plea deal with the feds to not appeal in exchange for a limited sentence on the federal charges (which I think they agreed to a concurrent sentence the same length as the state sentence.)
