I don't need capeshit to be told through a "female lens". If I want that, there's already a crapton of "Lifetime" After School Special soap operas out there to choose from; and if you're going to turn something into a soap opera (like Riverdale, my gods, that was Kindred: the Embraced all over again, but somehow even more lame) then make up your OWN capeshit characters/vampires/whatever that are ALL ABOUT being female, black, gay, or being oddballs or whatever the fuck - you're more likely to attract a wider audience that way without attracting all the hate.
Hear anyone complain about NOPE having black main characters? Nope! Because it's an original movie (afaik, anyway) made by a black guy, rather than My Favourite Martian just redone with black people (no spoilers, haven't seen it yet.)
This is what I don’t get. There are plenty of genres/shows that are specifically made to appeal to women which is fine. My problem is that nowadays there seems to be a problem with making something to appeal to guys. I remember reading how comic books with female characters are mostly read by guys because that is a hobby that tends to be male dominated

Not only that, but they also are getting the people they stole places from to defend their places from the trannies.
They must be absolutely rolling at the fact we are broken enough to fall for it.
