I have learned to despise activists today. If you look at history people who legit fight for causes don’t get all sorts of pampering and praising
I've begun to question the motives of 'activists' in history to be perfectly honest.
Sure, they didn't get plaudits, but they sure got a sense of satisfaction. And creating a movement to put yourself at the head of can be a good grift.
Doesn't mean their cause was necessarily unjust, of course.
I get you, and it’s true that you will always have grifters going back to the beginning of time but I believe there were always sincere ppl.
