I knew something was up when the original thread about the firing on kai1 was almost immediately infested by an SJW.
Who was claiming to not be.
And claiming that he totally deserved it.
And that all conservatives are racist, sexist, insurrectionist.
And that its literally impossible to be a good person and a conservative.
And that anyone claiming to be a Battletech fan and a conservative is a liar, because conservatives dont enjoy things or have hobbies other than religion (this is not a joke, he actually said that).
And utterly refused to listen to any evidence that he was wrong.
But he is not an SJW and anyone calling him one is a snowflake.
I am just hoping that CGL looks at this whole thing going down, looks at the poll from one of their largest fan accounts showing that the supermajority of fans think this was a bad idea, and say "We made a mistake" and walk it back. But I dont see that happening unless something forces their hand.
Nah, it was very clearly obvious that he was not acting in good faith. So while I thought about it, I eventually just stopped with a "why bother?" Last I saw, he was claiming that he had gotten SWATed by "angry conservatives in this thread" in response to someone actually asking him for proof of the bad things Blaine had supposedly said. To which my reaction (to myself) was along the lines of "Are you actually taking the piss?"
Yea I have learned to avoid Reddit arguments. It’s an endless rabbit hole. During blm riots I got into debates simply for asking why a baseball card subreddit needs to “address” this
Same. I have basically made Reddit into a way to keep up on anime and games I like, and sometimes have low-yield discussions. But if something I am planning on saying is too far outside the hivemind, then I just keep my mouth shut unless I am on KIA1 or KIA2.

Did you respond to him? Sounds like he is reading from an msnbc script

"It's not politics! It's HUMAN RIGHTS!"
They say it. Why shouldn't we?
