It doesn't matter that the temperature stations are located in a urban heatzones. Urban heatzones have been understood for many decades, and you have to account for them. Average global temperature is not literally just an simple mean of a couple dozen thermometers. It is a fully abstract calculation that includes heat bias from temperature sensors in warmer areas, as well as cold bias from colder areas.
Look, you get one of two choices:
Either they do a simple mean calculation of thermometors, and the results never reflect anything because they aren't being properly weighted by their location
Or you actually do preform a calculation to weight different sensors and you go and accuse them of "messing with the data".
