Not even remotely true. Armenia was part of the USSR until it collapsed entirely, for example. So was Ukraine, which is hilarious in many ways.
Armenia and Ukraine were not satellite states of the USSR, they were constituent (fake) republics. I guess I can't expect too much from a guy who thinks that Rome collapsed because of a bachelor tax.
Romania was actually one of the first to fall, after Estonia declared independence within the USSR, and Lithuania was the first country to leave the USSR without overthrown leaders with the act of the 11th March 1990. In total there were 15 nation states that remained part of the USSR until it was dissolved.
