Not true at all. I am giving based takes to audiences that appreciate them. Do you think I got 22k upvotes in 19 days from bots and cultists?
No. The fact that I got upvoted heavily proves that my comments were positively received, not "fighting bots and cultists".
If I was "fighting bots and cultists", I'd have been at -22k instead.
You were upvoted because you posted in r/4chan. You were preaching to the choir.
4chan is a very diverse sub, unlike most of reddit which is a libtard echo chamber. 4chan is more like the wild west because it's basically unmoderated (it only has a very aggressive automod).
Not the point. 22k people recognized his point and upvoted it.
There is more to operating in the public sphere than just "winning" debates. People need to be reminded that they are not crazy and see sane voices standing up. Otherwise, they will just get demoralized.
Why do you think progressives insist on infecting everything? It's not because they think they will win you over. It's because the more the message is out there, the less crazy it seems
Like "I want the freedom to work for less money".
No, your takes are dumb.
No, you're dumb, and thanks for reminding me why I block you.
See, you insult me, I insult your takes.
Who is really hostile here ?
You block people who disagree with you, soy boy, just because like I said : you can't argue yourself out of a paper bag.
Ok, I'll take a side for real this time. You're fucking stupid. This is an idiotic take.
If it's so dumb, why aren't you in your bosses office asking for less money ?
Minimum wages make sense, just not on the national level and so long as they are quite a bit under the average salary for an area. The goal is preventing slavery level wages without causing inflationnary pressure.
You don't want the Walmarts of the world paying people 1$/hour.
But go ahead, tell me how you want the freedom to work for 0.01$/hour and how it's your god given right.
Actually, I changed my mind. I'll tell a story. Let's pretend that you (actually you, in this case) are in need of a job. There's an economist down the street and you really want to learn from them, but unfortunately you have a child's understanding of economics.
The economist is like, "hey, no problem -- I see some potential in you, but since you're basically worthless I'd be willing to hire you at $0.01/hr and I'll feed you lunch."
You're like, "damn, what a deal! I'm an idiot with no skills but this guy is willing to pay me and feed me and teach me to not be a worthless fuck at the same time!"
Government steps in and says, "nope. You gotta pay him $15/hr." Economist is like, "well, I can't afford that. Sucks to be blackestknight."
You go to McDonald's instead and they don't have any job openings because they've replaced all of their unskilled labor with kiosks and robots.
You get hungry and you have $0.01 in your pocket, but unfortunately it won't buy anything because everybody with a job makes at least $15/hr and increased dollars without a proportional increase in supply (the real measure of wealth) will obviously drive the price of everything up because dollars have no inherent value.
You starve in the gutter, because the baker has to charge $5 for a loaf of bread because he has to pay for labor a $15 minimum wage, the delivery company that brought him his flour and sugar and yeast had to charge a $15 minimum wage, the farmers had to pay everyone a $15 minimum wage, and you can't even afford a paltry $5 because you don't have a fucking job and nobody will help you because you're a worthless idiot.
Oh, but wait, the government steps in and invents WIC and other forms of welfare and you're saved! But you're a man, so you don't get any of that shit, so you die anyway.
The Internet laughs at your self-inflicted misfortune.
The end.
My story is that I have skills developed over a lifetime that are worth paying for, so I get paid for them. I have no reason to ask for less money. However, if I were 12-14-16 years old or an ignoramus like yourself, I'd have sat and watched and listened to and learned from an expert in my field for $0.01/hr with joy. In fact, I often did, except for $0/hr because they couldn't legally hire me for what I was actually worth, because of minimum wage laws.
The end.
You're so dumb that you think this non sequitur is an argument.
Sorry, I'm not going to discuss calculus with someone who doesn't understand basic arithmetic.
