Fair enough, I suppose it is different in Europe. Although there's still defensive training.
So you're right, but I am also right; a lot of it comes down to decision making. Are women more vulnerable? I'd generally agree that's fair. But they're most vulnerable when they put themselves in bad situations, and I wouldn't want to do that as a man either. That said, I suppose I would have to agree that, if we start from the assumption that we're putting ourselves in a bad situation, in many (if not most) scenarios, you are still better off being a man. So, fair point.
Europe is importing Muslims and Somalians, so they're gonna have the same problems we do.
I've noticed that the assumption here is that going out at night in the city is basically a death sentence. I guess that is based on the Detroit and Chicago paradigm. I'm not taking crazy risks or anything, but that's precisely because I can defend myself, I'm not a target and in the worst case scenario, I get robbed with a knife.
I've never said that, to be clear. Street violence is relatively low in almost all areas.
Point is, in a safer area, your odds of getting attacked, man or woman, are extremely low. But, yes, if that attack occurs you're better of being a man who is more likely to be able to defend himself.
I meant 'here' as in this thread. And you did not go that far, but you did have the assumption that it's some sort of extraordinary risk.
Agreed. But it's the fear that does it.
Not really, I'm just saying there are some actions that are riskier than others.
