They've been pushing this narrative harder than usual over the past five years. I have lefty relatives and I've heard several of them make similar comments about the South wanting to bring back slavery.
I have some relatives that believe that too. They listen to the usual suspects in the media. I just ask them if they really believed that why don’t they leave the country
