You're just engaging in polemic. You have no idea who would or would not have won.
No Republican could have won in a year when the economy declined by 30%.
That's absurd. If you pay $1 in taxes, you won't complain about taxes either, because $1 is not worth complaining about. At the end of the day, you want to soak the poor to pay off the rich, and that's quite reprehensible (though I know you support it not because you're a bad person, but because you're a blind partisan).
Sure. But when they hand out $1.5 trillion to Goldman Sachs and others who... desperately need it, they're not on the right path. Particularly whhen Goldman Sachs then turns around and screws the right with its absurd diversity demands.
Well, you lost because you regarded giving people the vast sum of $800 as 'socialism'. Which of course has nothing to do with socialism.
That is strange. I thought you'd be a big supporter of the $40 billion slush fund.
I mean, you act like it's some sort of moral commitment to Taiwan, rather than hard-nosed Realpolitik of trying to prevent the influence of China from spreading. It is not betrayal to not defend Taiwan (though I hope the US does), because princes break their word when it is not in their interests, and Taiwan knows that full well.
You have to correct for your own bias on that. Harris is unpopular with everyone. The other two, I am not sure.
It didn't decline by 30%. US GDP was only -3.49% for 2020.
Now you're just lying to straw man me. Why the fuck do I care about helping "the rich"? I just want a fair tax system, where losers are not subsidized, and winners are not punished. If you are a poor loser, you should be incentivized to go work to improve your position in life, instead of whining to government to take care of you. I don't want to live in a nation full of useless dead weight who contribute nothing and then sit on twitter and reddit all day demanding communism.
What are you talking about? The Republicans bowed down to all the spending in 2020, albeit reluctantly, precisely because they feared losing votes. That's not why they lost.
I made a post in KIA2 on Reddit criticizing it and linking Rand Paul's denunciation of it. Maybe you were already banned by then, idk. I can't link it now because I don't have access to the sub. I can be against Russia but also in favor of fiscal responsibility.
It is a moral imperative. Americans are (or were) raised to believe that we stand at the tip of the spear to defend freedom and democracy against the evils of communist aggression. You might remember the Cold War, which was still in full swing when I was a child growing up in the 80s.
You think Americans have no principles, and well, the libs don't, but most normal Americans do. And it is still 100% in America's best interests to defend Taiwan to prevent aggression from a resurgent CCP empire even from a realpolitik perspective, but there is also a moral, principled component to it as well. The principles will bring the Right, the emotional virtue signal "feels" will bring the Left.
