I have to agree with you here. I looked at Microsoft and their decline vs Disney and they look similar for the past 3 month. Disney is somewhat worse but is hard to say it is do to woke stuff.
There is a case to be made that Disney made serious efforts in pushing Disney+ in European markets as well as new movie releases and this should be driving the price higher or at least reduce the stock drop rate but it has not.
So I do think it affected the stock price but not anywhere to the degree that the article suggests.
I'm not sure I agree it has anything to do with the scandals.
Every stock bar oil majors has been beaten down all year.
