It's nice that Muslims in Lebanon give the rest of the Lebanese a bad name.
Ah, see, it's more... Complicated than that, here. As another poster pointed out, it's more something... "Cultural", to do with Lebanese immigrants. Because many of the ones here are not Muslim, yet they still behave like violent idiots, refuse to assimilate, get into gangs, etc...
A lot of those are Christian. So I don't... Quite know what is going on, there, but much like with the South Sudanese, as you point out, the problem is not just the religion, unfortunately...
Re North Sudanese, yeah, you're right, but we just call them terrorists, no? At least the extremist ones...
There was a band here, for a while, called "Children of Darfur", I do believe, so trust me, people here ARE aware. :-/ Fortunately, though, I haven't heard of too many regime-ists from the North coming here, as yet. As yet...
I saw that movie when it first came out (about a South Sudanese refugee, who, uhh, did some terrible shit, and then came to Australia), partly because I spent some time in the suburbs that it was filmed in. It was... Fairly confronting. So yeah, there's definitely some bad eggs that still get through, from that part of the world, unfortunately.
In Europe, what happens a lot is that Muslim men date native girls and then force them into prostitution.
South Sudanese are Christian. Wait until you see Sudanese from the north.
