You've bought into all the liberal myths about organic bottom up revolutions, peaceful or otherwise. It's not the legislative bodies that are the concern. It is far more complex. There are many many nodes of power, from HR directors to sheriff's to the NYT to banks(particularly banks in current year). People cowered from BLM in places they already had allies in power. Antifa was easily scared off by a few guys with guns when those locals knew the sheriff or AG wasn't going to have them arrested for defending themselves.

I didn't make that argument. Im saying all power derives from the streets first and foremost.
And you don't control the streets with randos. A street demonstration comes and goes, and unless it occupies territory, its effect is transitory.
