No. The community needs to just go away. Their politics as a whole have become unviable. I don't know where to go from here with them, but I know I don't want to be around them anymore.
This is going to be tricky to explain, and I can't speak slower and louder for you so I ask you read it slower and louder instead:
Professional lobbyist legal organizations designed to change laws to more benefit them is not equivalent to a social club, and dissolving the former does not make illegal the latter.
And to clarify, I never said anything about making it illegal. Reread what he posted from the POV that the community is just the 'social club' aspect. Why historically would gay people have needed to banded together, indeed.
I understand completely what you are saying. Gay activists have all but outlived their usefulness and should STFU. Victory has been achieved. At this point they are professional victims.
But, that's not what I originally said or implied. I said The Community. As in, the gay community. Not just the activists, the entire group. And what they have in common is that they are not normal/average and that alone binds the lot of them. Historically, if nothing else, you could rely upon another gay person to at least understand your plight. That's something that can rarely be achieved among either the straight or gay communities these days because no one gives a fuck about anything beyond their own narrow interests, as is evidence in Assassin47's response. Like needing to be around your own kind was never necessary for gays.
There is still a need for the gay community, even if it's just the most basic: to find viable dating options.

There's pushes again for the pedo angle.
Yes, AGAIN.
Which is a big reason I am glad they are the ones who got monkey pox.
Those who push for it need to be executed alongside the pedos as accomplices. There is no excuse, no forgiveness.
What is the point of it now anyway? Even if you think it was necessary at some period in history.
You're right. People who have similar interests should totally fuck off and not interact at all.
