No, not true. I am one of the co-authors of the report, and we do not call for Fox to be banned. Your tweet does reinforce our point about deliberate misinformation, however.
Saw your report received favorable coverage from @CBCNews! Question: CBC News published multiple false reports about the trucker convoy, including the lies of Martin Anglehart (known scammer) and Jim Watson (re: arson). Can you explain why that's not a grave threat to democracy?
Similarly, CBC refused to publish videos of police beatings in Ottawa, including the one in my pinned tweet. CBC also did not report on the arrest of several journalists filming in Ottawa. Is that an issue concerning the democracy, or no?
Right now, a YouTuber named "ZOT" (young guy) is awaiting trial for "obstruction" because he tried to film the beatings in the downtown core. He cannot travel internationally. This did not make it in your report on threats to democracy! Any idea why?

"All we did was say that Fox is responsible for right wing terrorism, the fall of democracy, foreign interference, and that we need to 'rethink our security strategy' regarding the 'rising threat' that is US news. But we never used the word 'ban'. Checkmate nazi chuds."
I didn't read the full report, but CBC's story was alleging this report labelled FNC an anti-democratic force that must be monitored. So if that's false his anger should be at the CBC.
Big deal so they had a couple of pieces of information that were incorrect that were established as incorrect. But the Convoy as a whole was still an illegal occupation that held a city hostage.
None of these chucklefucks seem to notice that Ottawa Police have permanently barricaded Wellington St in front of Parliament Hill to vehicular traffic since the "gridlock" that Ottawa NPCs won't shut up about.
Ottawa City Council has admitted that they never intend to let cars back on the road ever again and plan on either turning it into yet another pedestrian thoroughfare or handing the land over to Trudeau and the Parliamentary cops.
So that precious street that was "held hostage" by those evil truckers and had to be liberated by beating the shit out of them and outlawing peaceful protest forever has been permanently been taken out of circulation by those very same corrupt police for months and forever.
And not a single REEEing NPC seems to have noticed.
