Hmmm. Maybe. Or maybe the difference between Nintendo and Sony lies in that stationary consoles are an obsolete concept. Additionally, the PS5 hasn't had particularly great games, as far as I know.
Xbox also had a record year in 2021. Sony (Playstation in particular, but you know what I mean) was the only one of the three to not only not grow, but lose a significant amount of money.
Xbox cucked too, but Sony was worse, and became more of a meme because of it.
I guess it doesn't have to be stuck to the wall all the time, but there's a performance advantage to running off the mains power, still, and that doesn't seem like it's going away soon.
