This defense of the Imperium of Man is Sargon's best work.
Two hours long. I wonder if he started this before or after appearing on The Critical Drinker's stream and giving the 8-minute version of this pitch.
I'm not a Warhammer fan, or even very familiar with the material, but this is a good essay.
The ideas have likely been gestating since GW put out that statement about the IoM being the bad guys.
...wait, what?
Here they literally take the side of chaos:
Sounds like heresy.
Someone should notify the Inquisition.
Instructions unclear, 50 Galleons full of Spanish Inquisitors are currently headed for GW headquarters.
They intended to torture the heresy out of them by 3D printing Ork miniatures in front of all the suits,
That's such a total spit in the face of their own product, it's difficult to believe they wrote it. It's doesn't ring even remotely true to anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the lore.
I haven't watched it, but I'm going to sum it up as MULTIETHNIC GIGAFASCISM
While that isn't wrong, it is obvious you haven't watched it because it is a long essay that delves into the ideological nuances that drives the entirety of progressive strategic thinking.
I will definitely watch this when I get a chance
I'd highly recommend it - but it's an essay, not a video, so you can either read it (how long that takes depends on your reading speed) or listen to Carl read it (1h54m).
