I switched from Office and OneDrive to LibreOffice and a NAS in 2020 I think, or 2019 I don't remember for sure.
After a little while, I can't believe I used to pay for MS Office. All I used it for is personal finance and business finance stuff, so basically simple spreadsheets. I've gotten to the point where I prefer it because simple things are simple and it's not constantly lagging down because I dared to copy and paste two cells.
What's even worse is Google spreadsheet. Wow does that suck. It's becoming much too big of a thing for me at work. Ugh

This sounds like a joke, but I swear to god that POS excel does this at the most inopportune times. Not to mention the goddamn rolling patches.

Sorry, I don't know of any guides. I just searched around the internet a bit to compare models, but did the configuration on my own.
Yeah, I'm most likely going to reuse my old PC, slap a few HDDs, and go from there.
