That's a bit of a stretch. This movie's target audience is clearly young. I reason still stands.

off topic: I kinda wish we had more films based in Ancient Rome. Feels like a missed opportunity.

I watched He-man and GIjoe when I was young and never had trouble relating, even though they were grown ass men fighting wars I would never have to even live through.

What's a stretch is assuming the writers had a motive other than being retarded.
