No disagreement from me. Yea it always annoys me when people make such demands. Like that Christian cake maker. On the flip side there was a case in Seattle or California where a gay business owner kicked out some Christians. Which is fine so long as you don’t get upset when it’s the other way.
Ok so we generally agree. I’ve had that thought before too. Let people associate with who they want.
I mean, it starts to get a little trickier in modern society. Why are my tax dollars going toward welfare for black people? I only want welfare to go toward white people... same for healthcare and everything etc... This is IMO an argument for why all government funded social programs are unjust.
A voluntary tax system or I personally would rather help the less fortunate through my church or private charities. I don’t the government is in the business of actually helping people (big shock). I used to be more of an anarcho capitalist but that seems unrealistic but ideally I’d like to see multiple voluntary societies. That is unrealistic as well though

Heh, I think many of us took the same path. It's one reason I'm such a big fan of Eric July. AnCap is still my dominating philosophy for the ideal system of governance, but I don't believe it's something fully achievable until we're in Heaven or the new kingdom. Humans aren't there yet. I do still subscribe to Voluntarism and parallel law and believe those ideas will work in smaller nation-states.
Basically if I ever have a chance to vote or do anything that incrementally moves us towards Ancapistan - I'll take it - but I'm not expecting that to be the final outcome. Everything always (d)evolves to a State. There are good reasons for that. Saying we can eliminate the State is kinda like saying we can get rid of Money or Religion. They are fundamental aspects of Human nature that will always exist in some form.
Agreed. I’m a big Eric July fan as well. I know he has become more pragmatic and supports whatever gives the most freedom and I guess I have as well. You think his comic book will be good?

Everything is unrealistic in a political sense. None of our ideas will be realized.
Yea, I came to that realization a while back.
