In an odd way this will probably get the MSM to shut up about the 'genocide' issue since they spent so long smearing Trump that if he agrees with them they have to immediately distance themselves from it.
I hope he agrees with them more to watch them squirm.
This is sadly not 4D Chess like his ardent supporters constantly say things are.
Trump is likely saying this because he foolishly thinks statements like this will help him in 2024.
If Trump runs again, the Democrats will be able to save themselves by making the whole election an referendum on Trump
the man instead of it being an referendum on Biden's failed policies.
I am so sick of this guy letting his massive ego destroy our last chance of even slightly unfucking the nation.
It is beyond depressing for me that Trump's poor decision making from 2020 onwards has actually managed to turn me away from wholeheartedly supporting him from 2015-2020 to the level of Never-Trump.
Yeah. Trump is pretty firmly and soullessly pandering to his base right now. He didn't pardon Assange, didn't didn't seriously attack the deep state, didn't secure our elections, and pushed Covid way too far. The smartest tactical decision he made was to announce the pullout of Afghanistan as his term ended, to leave Biden carrying the baggage. That legit made the left look horrible. But it was also just an optics move, and did nothing to improve the long-term well-being of our people.
TBH I think a collapse is inevitable at this point, and I'd rather have Biden holding the bag when it happens. Such an event would nuke the establishment in the eyes of the public and might lead to popular support for some actual reformists or fringe parties.
If Trump is holding the bag when everything unravels the establishment will just direct blame onto Trump and the "alt right.". We will be persecuted mercilessly and the fallout for the deep state will be contained. Nothing will change, but opposition parties will be radioactive for twenty years.
I have faith in neither candidate to actually fix this mess and if it comes down to Trump vs Biden I probably won't vote. Or I'll write in something impossible, like Rand Paul, so I can laugh and jeer at the normies from atop my giant pile of silver and bullets as Rome burns.
If Romney gets the nomination again, because like Hillary he's set his sights on it and won't give up, are "we" winning with President Romney?
There's better candidates than Trump, but there's a lot of worse candidates also.
My preference is 1) DeSantis 2) Trump 3) bearded Cruz 4) Rand Paul. I don't think Rand could even win as Democrats hate him as much as Republicans hate Hillary, and Cruz is slimy but at least he's smart as a whip.
Who are these "anyone" with a better shot than Trump that are not uniparty?

Sad fucking times.

Trump will never win in 2024. He is the one candidate that guarantees us a loss.
We have a better shot of winning 2024 with anyone other than Trump.
TDS is too real and he is hated by way too many people these days and the powers that be will never let him win again.
