Trump endorses Dr. Oz - https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/trump-endorses-dr-oz/ - again roasted in the comments
This is fucking embarrassing. What the hell does Trump think he's doing?? He's gone full RINO.
Trump didn't push the vax onto the public.
I don't really see the problem with Operation Warpspeed that other people do. If you were scared that covid was actually going to kill you and/or 90 years old, then you would be a good candidate for the vaccine. If not, just don't take it. That's the way it would've worked if Trump fairly won his second term.
Many prominent Democrats including Kamala Harris are on record in 2020 saying they would not take the "Trump vaccine."
Hypocrisy is one of the central planks of the DNC platform.
If the vax worked, I would agree with you.
However, it's quite apparent now that the vax doesn't actually work. This is obvious if you look at the data. In countries where 90%+ of the population are injected, we still see the same (or higher) cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Early on, when a significant fraction of the population was not-injected, it was okay to believe that maybe the vax had a positive effect. That's what the statistical data was suggesting. However, we now can see that the statistical methodology that created this was fraudulent -- With the vast majority of people having taken the injection, we no longer see any benefits at all.
And here we get to the problem. Was Operation Warpspeed good? Maybe in theory. But in reality what Operation Warpspeed did was permit massive fraud by these corporations and their govt & financial allies, with no discernable benefit on health and actually net-negative due to huge numbers of vaccine injuries that have been swept under the table.
This is more of a lesson in "crash course" research projects than anything. It's the first time in history that we've had a moon shot program to develop a biological countermeasure, and at the time it seemed like it was worth trying. People like Robert Malone thought it was a worthwhile avenue, so why should Trump be expected to have better judgment than scientists with 30 years experience in biodefense?
Failure is not a complete waste, it gives you info that you can only discover through action.
I think most rational people believed it was a good idea.
What's not a good idea is continuing to tout it as a great achievement. It's perfectly reasonable to say, "We tried it, we wanted to help people. But these scumbags abused our trust and used this opportunity to try and grab more money and power. We got suckered, and as a result they got rich and more people died. We can't let them get away with that."
That if you assume this wasn’t planned years before the outbreak. Which there’s plenty of evidence that it was. From WEF forums with Bill Gates talking about Corona virus strategy in 2019 all the way down to Reddit smearing “antivaxxers” in 2018-2019, there is little to indicate this was “crash course” anything.
Coronaviruses have been on biodefense radar since SARS and antivaxxers have been pariahs far longer than the last 4 years. But yeah, I'm not ruling out some level of premeditation or at least opportunism. Western governments have been very coordinated.
Agreed.
He made its development possible, nothing more.
I think the vax is a good thing for the elderly, the sickly, and the hamplanets.
