The moral panics that progressives complain about are generally justified, in an Alex Jones is always right kind of way. For example, the McMartin preschool, of satanic panic infamy, did have tunnels under it, but the group responsible, called the Finders, had protection from intelligence agencies so it got covered up. The FBI released the doxs a couple years ago on it. Have fun with that rabbit hole.
