The fact the "story" has the word 'edit' right there highlights how easy it would be to reee-edit out the scene for those places the shit won't fly.

Just as with Disney including various woke-soup scenes in the MCU then "to the shock of absolutely everyone!" removing those scenes for particular distributions I don't see Pixar taking a stand against the likes of China regarding this.

But hey, at least the tiniest of oppressed minorities can feel good about themselves on social media while they shove this stuff down the throats of children all the while likely thinking about shoving other stuff too.
