I've never listened to his radio show or anything he did, I did not even follow to much with the California recall thing, this is the first time I've listened to him and the guy is great.
He seems like a very good person that is also highly intelligent and logical. If you are on the fence and a bit open minded I can see him changing a lot of minds.
The part about the 2 old ladies that completely hate how California changed and how they wanted everything he was saying but would never vote Republican, I think is a good description of the state of politics. The leftists are the loudest but I think a big chunk of democrats are like those 2 old ladies.

Sorry but people like that piss me off more than "leftists". Those old ladies are why the country is in the state it is.
Being stuck on "party loyalty" is the first problem. It basically means a party can get away with whatever it wants with the loyalists, they'll never vote for those other stinkers.
I'd think it was a thing that might die with the last of the Silents and Boomers, but I think I'd be very wrong if I did. Some little voice is wanting to tell me that the under-20/20-something crowd are going to make .. well, I don't have a good metaphor right now, but yeah, if they're into "brand loyalty" ...
I mostly work from home now but when I do go in the office I hear him on the way home. That reminds me of some of my relatives who were hardcore Democrats but if you went over issues with them they were pretty conservative
