Or walking the opposite direction as them during daytime while wearing a videogame shirt and paying them no attention.
I understood that reference. But I wish I didn't.
For the blissfully unaware, it's a reference to a Tumblr post Felicia Day made that pretty much consisted of exactly that. She saw two WHITE MALES wearing "gamer shirts" and had a panic attack because Gamergate.
Ah yes, my least favourite fake gamer who gets inserted into so much shit she either has enough dirt on everyone they do her bidding constantly or she Weinstein'ed her way into that many crotches. It sure as hell isn't her looks getting her work.
There's literally an npc/party member in DA2 that not only does she voice but it has her face.
Shadowlands: Hong Kong has a similar potential party member who shares her face. Thankfully not only is this character entirely optional [unlike the DA2 one which is the central character in one of the DLC packs] but S:HK doesn't have spoke dialogue so you don't have to hear her speaking.
Her appearances in Supernatural were very much a consequence of her "fame" at the time as a "gamer girl" after 'The Guild' caused so many normies to sperg out about how "they were gamers too". The fact her character died at least once wasn't enough because they then brought in an alternative dimension version to replace her who was conveniently very similar to the original despite the alternative dimension being a literal hellscape/Apocalypse so that replacement character was absurdly well adjusted given the backstory that would have created.
To be fair to Shadowrun: Hong Kong, it was a Kickstarter backer reward to have your likeness used for an NPC portrait if you donated at least a certain amount of money to it (I think maybe $500). If Felicia Day put that much money in, HBS had to honor it.
If I have a guess, a simp probably paid for it.
