If a man were 10 ft tall, or 3 ft tall, he might not fit in the ride, either, and I wouldn't have any sympathy for him, either. It's not fatphobia; it's that machines are designed for an average person, and if you are too much bigger or smaller than that, they aren't safe. The fatass is in the unique position of, if she lost some weight, she could probably achieve her dream of one day riding the dumbass Harry Potter ride.
Also, read a different book lol
This happened to one of the guys in our group on some rides in Florida. He wasn't 10 feet tall, probably 7+, but was still outside the range of safety regulations for some like the Hulk roller-coaster nearer the entrance of the park.
hulk sad
I'm above average in height - not that above average, but enough - and the number of things that are uncomfortable to use because of this is astonishing. Planes, most cars, pretty much any wheeled power tool like a lawnmower, strollers, vacuums. And this is all just because I'm in the top ~10%.
Still, I'm not going to cry to some journoscum about it. And unlike the butter golem in this article, I can't do anything about it. Except wait, I guess. Maybe once I'm 90 I'll be short enough that I can mow the lawn without bending at the waist.
Could win a wizarding prize for figuring out how to invert gravity and levitate that mass.
She'd be great at blocking the hoops tho
