Why is it odd? They aren't trying to be fair, they're trying to eradicate you. They're trying to make sure you end up on the street, and if they're able to, make sure you end up dead. These people want you and your children removed from society and stricken from any records that would preserve your memory, and they would do ANYTHING to make those things happen, and obviously that includes lying and double standards. How is that odd or surprising?
