The idea of a Christian pastor taking on a leadership roll in any community is absolute anathema to the Canadian establishment. Like all socialists, they hate any institution that provides an alternative societal hierarchy, and especially one that encourages the worship of God over that of the state.
I suspect there's more to this story than meets the eye. Two days ago, there was a thread on 4chan warning about an upcoming false flag to be blamed on the Canadian truckers. Unlike a lot of 4chan LARPs, this one actually named names, provided pics, and seemed like it might be halfway credible.
Anyways, OP of that thread claimed that Artur Polowski is a "foreign agent" and is somehow connected to the false flaggers. 48 hours after that thread was posted to 4chan, a SWAT team shows up to raid Artur's house and arrest him. Was the arrest an excuse to find info about the false flag operation and question Artur's involvement? Was it an excuse for the police to come in and cover up any incriminating evidence of a false flag plot? I don't know, but the timing seems awfully coincidental.
Eh, I'd take someone religious (as we traditionally know the term) over someone who worships the state any day. At least with the ostensibly religious person they're answerable to their god. Not so with the other guy.
Good god he really pissed some stasi off

But if someone torched his church, they won't even put out the fires.

Imagine fleeing communist tyranny to live in a "free country" only to end up arrested 4 times for your religious beliefs.
