I work for a major company and learned that diversity/equity/inclusion is going to be a part of the review process but they didn’t say how yet. This is ridiculous

That’s true. Especially during Floyd riots people got fired for saying perfectly normal things. So as much as I want to push back against this crap I could get in a lot of trouble
If you brush up on Derrick Bell and other critical race theorists, you can learn how to assault them with right-wing talking points but framed with leftism, such as calling forced integration a black cultural genocide and MLK a black collaborator whose interests converged with a white super-structure.
Good point. Although I have no problem with voluntary integration since I have a lot of friends that are white or Hispanic (fluent in Spanish due to working with a lot of Mexicans when I was younger). At my age now I tend to hang out with people more traditional minded. Guess that also explains why I have a lot of friends from church
Other than progressives, there aren't many people that have problems with voluntary anything. It was just the most aggresive argument I could come up with on the fly that attacks the liberal mythos within a leftist framework but also advances a right-wing narrative. The fun part about everything being racist is that everything is racist.
True. One white liberal called me a white supremacist once and I responded that my DNA shows I have some white ancestry so o guess the European genes I have overpowered the dominant African dna toy make me a white supremacist. He didn’t know what to say.
But you are right. That’s why I tell people not to bother proving that you aren’t racist.
there is nowhere to go that isn't a mom and pop or a startup
but then again the quality of life when working at a small business is much better so probably worth it
Every small company I worked at was great…til it was bought out by a larger company
a woman was fired on, and killed, for yelling 'all lives matter.'
Yes! And it made me mad that nobody seemed to care and media ignored it
“people got fired for saying normal things” = the people in power now are more cowardly and delusional
