A better story would be The Van.
I believe there's double-meaning as The Stand is about results of corona virus / supef-flu pandemic.
And then a Good/Evil type gathering and final showdown, like the polarization you can see on Twitter over the Trucker Convoy.
Trudeau is Randall Flagg, and CTV is the Trashcan Man.
That was the last book of his I read. Very good. The 90s mini series wasn’t bad either.
