These urbanites never go to these places, and just gloat that they are near them. Not like they could afford some of them anyway.

There are problems with suburbs, one of the biggest is that there's not enough entertainment for the kids and young-adults, because the towns built around the developments are basically for the mothers to shop in, and the fathers to golf in. There's not a genuine diversity of interests, and it's a real problem that causes kids to flee to big cities, get abused for a decade, then move away to a suburb, to repeat the process again.

"Cuisine" keeps being a thing that these urbanites bring up as if there's something that can't be found outside of high-density high-rise living. That's wrong. In fact, one of the biggest reason's it's wrong is because you aren't eating "home cooked" or even "ethnic" food because there is no family that lives there making the food. It's just a name on a store front. The actual family restaurants can't afford big cities. How do I know I'm eating home-cooked family food at the Chinese food place I go to? Because Dad's on the grill, Mom's in the freezer, and their 9 year old kid just ran my debit card through the cash register.
