Establishment right media is like watching wrestling. It's all scripted, everyone plays their character when they have to and some people actually believe it's real.
But notice how it ended, with Cruz pretending to be the good guy to get the people on the Right to think that he just "slipped" up and used a common Progressive talking point to describe January 6th.
It's all theatre at this point.
Cruz says just enough to hold on to what power he has on the Right to cede territory to the Left.
of course its all theater. cruz does that to save his cred, hes a politician, all of them do that shit. scott adams was doing the same today. (honorary shitlib). i think he was trying to consider that relationship with tucker, as him turning on cruz would potentially matter to him. it was a good interview though, and a lot tougher than maddow or any other lib will be on any of the democrats.

I doubt this was scripted, Ted seemed like he expected an 'easy' interview from tucker, and he kept asking him difficult questions.
Saying "you lied" isnt exactly a softball.
