I think, if we’ve reached this point and that hasn’t yet happened, I’m genuinely not sure it EVER will, even when they start literally rounding us up…
Which is… Kind of odd, to have all this go down, without ANY violent resistance, in most countries… 😑
Historically, that’s reasonably “unique”, and not in a good way…
Honestly not sure how humanity became quite this cowardly. But clearly that hasn’t reached, say… Kazakhstan, or the Ukraine, or Hong Kong, yet. Somehow the West has become completely neutered, in a very short period of time…
General dissatisfaction is the fuel; people struggling to live have nothing to lose and will fight it the opportunity presents, but will just sit there otherwise.
The kindling is all the mandates and government bullying; any violence will start in reaction to them and it will ignite the broader dissatisfaction but, again, it won't start on it's own.
The spark will be a single event. It will be some government action that is unacceptably horrible. It may be violent itself. It may be something as simple as the Pavlovsky arrest, but the kindling and fuel need to be ready.
I don't know if they are quite yet; people are still able to live. But these new lockdowns signal clearly that there is no end in sight and that might signal the end of public patience.
Fire is dangerous, sometimes necessary to remove dead wood, but also uncontrollable.
We should continue to fight for a non-violent solution to the last instant, while preparing ourselves to deal with a forest fire.
Violence when?
