I've tried twice, today, with a song. Two different videos, from two different ShitTube sources.
I can watch them fine, but when I try to post, it says, and shows "video unavailable" in the post...
Anyone got a possible explanation there??

Sometimes YT restricts embeds. Not sure what triggers it exactly, but copyrights are probably involved in your case.
I think it’s a setting the video uploader can check or uncheck, and older videos seem to be mostly left unchecked (maybe the setting was a late addition)
It is not on our end, youtube prevents you from posting videos to other websites all the time. It's mainly for monetary, because if you have to watch it on their website, you can fall victim to their algorithm of recommendations and watch more. The second reason is .win addresses are one of their favorite for political blocking. They don't want you to share content with us on our website that they don't approve of. It's illegal as hell as it violates political speech laws, but, they're Google, politicians love them. Third is licensing, music videos and other copyright restricted videos can only be posted under certain circumstances according to the owner of he copyright, a lot of time, that means only to youtube.com.
everyone could help things out a little bit if they stopped using youtube and twitter. Twitter, Facebook are blocked at my router so I can't even read the twitter reposts that are posted here.
Try using Odyssey if the content is their, or try using an Invidious link instead of directly to youtube (or some other youtube scraper/stripper).
To expand: is the problem on our end, in which case, can we fix it?
Or is it on Youtube's end/with the Win forums as a whole..?
Because it still worked fine on Christmas, which was literally six days ago, here... :-/ And that was AFTER the forums went down, for most of Christmas Eve...
Or is this a temporary problem/specific to those videos, do we think? In which case, I guess that's fine, or at least much less important...

Nah, I tried the original, “author channel”, if you will, but that didn’t work, so I tried a random copy, but that didn’t work either…
Hence my wondering!

It might be a .win hiccup. A few hours ago my posts disappeared but were visible clickingbon my profile, and when I replied it posted twice the same message.
This doubleposting happened before 1 or 2 or so weeks ago.
yeah once in a while a reply wont show up... it takes a few minutes sometimes.
It could be the guys updating the stuff at the back end. I hear they were do8ng some updates a while ago. So maybe this may be another one? Or this one broke something that wasn't broken?
