I don't feel sorry for Trump often, but man, seeing this makes me feel sorry for Trump.
The vaccine was HIS idea born of his faith in American scientific might. If he had won in 2020, the MEDIA would be the 'anti-vaxxers', but he lost, so the bulk of the vax rollout happened under Biden, and so the media are eager to praise the vax like it's the second coming.
Similarly, a good portion of the 'anti-vaxxer' crowd are opposed to it BECAUSE the media have associated it with Biden and BECAUSE the media are are uncritically pushing it so hard. So, in effect, they're booing Trump because the media have brainwashed them into thinking the vaccine is Biden's doing, and now they see Trump's support of his own plan not as Trump sticking to his guns, but Trump supporting Biden and the media.
The left told him a vaccine in 9 months was impossible, called him a moron for thinking it was even remotely possible, swore they wouldn't take it, and... 'won' an election and then, overnight, reversed their position on absolutely everything, and gaslit the right into rabidly turning against their own vaccine while the left take the credit for something they opposed.
Vaccine wasn't even his idea. Pfizer and all them were already planning to do one the moment Covid even existed.
Totally Jimmy Carter-ed the bastard. And of course, it was the puppet who got the credit.
