Nicotine is about as addictive as caffeine. It's not as addictive as heroin like they told us in high school.
Cigarettes are more addictive because there's a bunch of additional chemicals in it that are even more addictive than nicotine alone.
And caffeine is pretty damn addictive, too. Ever try to quit it cold turkey?
