But as I said before the people who stormed the Capitol were in the wrong. She didn’t deserve to die but shouldn’t have been there. I guess I’m just sick of the hand wringing over the Capitol riot (which was wrong) and the cheering of the Floyd riots. Police accountability is important but it’s interesting how the media picks and chooses what cases to highlight. How it turned into clueless young people whining about how oppressed they are is beyond me.
George Floyd is actually more similar to (four?) other people who died there. There was tear gas employed against a crowd including a lot of elderly, and I think one might have been pushed by a cop and fall down to his death. There was even a drug overdose near the police, too.
