We are debating whether it exists or not because a good amount of people in society don't have children in school right now. My mother, who has always been a good proxy for the average Canadian, told me she watched some clip on CNN about how some people were upset that their kids were being taught CRT but that the school doesn't have a single course on CRT and wasn't actually teaching it. This of course was a lie and I had to explain it to her. She was skeptical and said "well maybe that's actually going on". She doesn't believe it because her TV set, that is controlled by the left, hasn't told her it's going on.
Even the people with kids in school don't understand the extent of what's going on. I spoke to someone with teenagers about CRT and they're convinced their kids school isn't teaching it but there are "some questionable things" their kids are being taught. They just don't think it's that alarming.
Most parents don't have the time to fully understand what their kids are being taught. For one, the parents aren't sitting there in all the classes listening to everything and it's not like the kids come home and tell their parents everything. Once a child has been indoctrinated they'll start to see their parents, with more conservative values, as actually being "the enemy" so they'll keep things they know their parents wouldn't like from their parents, which is all by design.
If you think CRT is bad wait until you learn about SEL, which is basically CRT but exploiting children's emotional vulnerabilities to force CRT onto them. It combines CRT with Psychological Manipulation to streamline CRT's adoption in the school system. It's even worse than what's going on now and it's coming to schools soon with some already teaching it. It literally does teach children to see their parents as negative influences (if their parents don't adhere to CRT's values).
This is all being orchestrated by design. Force women into the workforce so that parents feel they need to have dual-income to support children. Then the State gains full control of the children through their indoctrination facilities. The teachers who are nothing more than pawns for the State were indoctrinated themselves into the system and thus the system repeats itself.
There is no solution through the system itself. Only home-schooling or the total destruction of the current system through a revolution can defeat this.
Normies would still be totally in the dark on CRT if not for the scamdemic giving everyone a direct video portal into the classroom. People are waking up because they've seen with their own two eyes the horrible shit taught to their children.
That's about what I'd attribute it to as well. Just not paying attention. I also think some of these parents are still too trusting and ignorant of the schools and teachers. So on top of paying attention they are sold into consciously opening doors to make their kids into zombies.
I think the whole SEL concept is even older actually. I don't recall being pushed any white guilt in school close to 20 years ago, but they were definitely trying to play the emotional manipulation game. I don't know if their plan was to tear me down so they could rebuild or whatever, but that's sure what it felt like. Lucky for me I'm the stubbornest little shit I know and it didn't take, but it messed with my head the majority of my school years.
I do think it's a lot worse in schools now. This being close to a holiday I tend to interact with all my little cousins (mostly 8-14 year olds) at gatherings more than the rest of my family that likes to ignore them. For some reason they gravitate to me anyway. It's been sort of shocking to see once they get into school how their mental state changes. Particularly the ones I'd call more "different," not meaning like retards but more like not of the zombie personality the schools want. They mess these kids up in the head. The one total exception? My one home-schooled cousin, it's hard to describe but I get the idea he actually has the capability to think through things on his own. Albeit as a 12yo boy sometimes you still get stupid outcomes from that thought, but it's the process. Definitely not a regurgitater of things he's been told that's for sure.

I kind of left it vague in hopes people would research into it, thanks though.
