More propaganda through vacuous consumerism. Shocking!
They really underestimate their demographic. The majority of those people have already gotten the clot-shot.
Knowing that simple likelihood, the point of this isn't to get more people vaccinated, it's to paint a large landscape picture to form a narrative. They're trying to inculcate into the minds of the common idiot that they're "informed," because they've digested small bits of consumer propaganda. As we progress through all of this, I'm realizing that many people aren't particularly good at abstract thought and are instead egocentric and unable to view things through the eyes of others. What they'll do is assume that every vax hesitant person gets their information and knowledge of Covid and the vaccine the same way that they do: through media.
In accordance with what they're fed daily, they'll perpetuate stereotypes manufactured specifically to discredit any dissenting views. We'll see them use reductio ad absurdum; claim that "anti-vaxxers" believe in conspiracy theories; make arguments from authority that are misrepresentations of reality; denigrate people by saying they lack an adequate education level to form their own views; make pathetic appeals to emotion to gaslight; all around illustrate that they're simply mindless drones, who parrot whatever the mainstream belief is, in order to feel like they aren't the lazy retards that they actually are. It gives them a smug sense of self-satisfaction to feel like they're "informed" — even though their core concept of being "informed" is simply repeating whatever dogma the media and venal politicians tell them.
They project their consumerism habits onto others. I don't think there's a better example of this than their incessant ramblings about Fox news. This is consistently their go to argument. In the event that it's not Fox, they begin rambling off other "right-wing" outlets or commentators. I'm pretty sure that they're convinced that everyone waits to be told what they should think like they do.
The very concept that a large portion of people rely on methods similar to what the journalists they worship use — such as getting as close to the original source as possible before forming an opinion and not relying on someone else's interpretation — is somehow completely lost on these obsequious morons. They've completely surrendered their intellectual autonomy in exchange for convenience and an opinion that allows them to "fit in." In fact, to any people who actually pay attention, they'll notice that "dissident" opinions and discussions typically take place before they ever even make it to some form of media.
I really don't understand how the idea eludes them that, in 2021, people can always further educate themselves with the largest aggregation of information the world has ever known available to them at all times.
I'm constantly left puzzled by their lack of situational awareness and critical thinking. I don't feel it's inaccurate to say that they're ideologically obsessed lunatics at this point. An irascible cult led by megalomaniac apparatchiks who only care about money and power.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that politics should be involved when having discussions regarding forcing an experimental gene therapy shot on people, or with regards to the jab altogether — yet, here we are. It's been the running theme this entire time. That's something that says a lot to me, which is another thing they're seemingly completely oblivious to.
Anyone who takes their opinion from Family Guy, of all places, was probably already injecting boosters into their eyeballs at this point.
Wait until the Kult finally finds its Personality to lead and symbolize it.
Indeed. If history is any indicator, things probably won't go so well either.
