That Windows 11 exclusively ties itself to your Microsoft account is a hard no for me. None of my Windows 10 installs use a Microsoft account, they all use a local account, and for good reason. I don't know if my Microsoft account even works any more, it is left over from the days of Microsoft Live! that some of the old Ghost Recon games used to use.
No windows has had that restriction before. afaik W8 tried to trick you into using it, though.
But 8 and 10's pro builds are 99% of home, youd have to be a sucker to buy them, enterprise is no longer available for consumers, so those are the only choices.

I'll say this for the slow people in the back. A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT IS ONLY REQUIRED TO FINISH THE SET UP OF WIN11 HOME EDITION.
Yeah, and unless you go out of your way to get something other than Win11 Home, this will apply to you. Win10 Home didn't have this restriction.
