Arnold is a retard. I can't imagine saying something like "screw your freedom" as a damn immigrant in a country where you literally lived the American dream specifically because of that freedom.
What a piece of crap.
Well, since it's a mask thread, and I'm not sure who's read what I've posted before, I may as well include some resources for people that I've shared previously.
These can be used for those you may know who screech like retards about "muh mask!"
If anyone has any additional resources, please be do share. It always helps. Thanks!
Even if everyone in the country were using n95's, they're still not completely reliable. In fact, any mitigation that they offer would be absolutely reliant on strict usage guidelines being followed to the letter -- which, as we all know, 99% of people absolutely do not follow.
It's also worth adding that in the event that masks aren't used properly -- as we most certainly see a vast majority of people demonstrate daily -- then they actually significantly increase the chances of infection, instead of preventing it.
Here's a random collection of studies that more-or-less align with what everyone already knows, but that the every day person still seemingly ignore for some reason.
I hope it's useful to someone. Not all of them are purely scientific/medical -- a couple are legal, I think.
He was one of those guys people wanted to repeal the "native-born citizen" requirement for President so he could run. Safe to say those aspirations are now dead.
Just goes to show the complete disconnect the Hollywood/Elite echo chambers have with reality.
What's even more baffling is we continuously see time after time videos of politicians and celebrities not wearing masks, then putting one on for the camera, then finally removing it once they believe the cameras are gone.
All they truly care about is the idea of looking like they're good people. Their entire lives revolve around an illusion they create of themselves to sell to others.
But it still doesn't stop the average braindead consumer from believing it.
I'm not sure why the videos of people vaping with a mask on aren't persuasive. I guess the assumption is that something so crude must be wrong somehow but it's vexing that it's that easy to show the air just flows around the masks and no one seems to care.
I'd suggest that the reason is actually pretty simple: insecurity.
For some reason, people have become deathly afraid of being wrong about things. Many will adamantly stand by their position, regardless of if its been proven not to be the case, because their egos forbid them from considering they may have been incorrect.
I don't think there's been better examples of this than during the Trump Presidency and the election preceding it. Just think of how many explicit lies were promulgated throughout the MSM and social media during those 5 years. There are genuinely still people who believe the fact that "Trump never denounced white surpremacy," even though there are 8+ minute long clips of him doing just that over the course of several years. When people are confronted with that clip, I've seen them say "Yeah, but he didn't mean it" or some other such excuse. Which is absolute insanity.
Of course, I don't believe it's as simple as just insecurity alone; just the primary contributor. There's also a touch of ideological obsession that borders on fanaticism or zealotry, which I feel can likely be attributed to an excess of consumerism. Intellectual laziness has rendered many people into mindless drones who simply repeat whatever their favorite celebrity, influencer, or media personality, tells them is the truth.
It would definitely make an interesting study; however, I don't think anyone with real credibility would be willing to stand up against an establishment that tries to ruin people who pull back the curtain.
