Execution of every American citizens in the country, either of beheading, be burned alive or their throats slit with knifes, for all the world to see via livestreams
Destruction of every major US buildings and Afghanistan's non-Islamic landmarks
"Empowered" Afghan women and non-Muslim children all going to be on the death's conveyor belt too

I don't think the Taliban are quite so comically evil as ISIS, so I'll be surprised if things turn as ugly as we saw in Syria.
Remember: The Taliban have a 30+ year history of negotiating and making deals with the US.
It also wasn't the Taliban who did 9/11 - they were invaded because they refused to hand Bin Laden over to the US, and would only agree to have him tried in Afghanistan or Pakistan.
