It's happened several times here in the US; in Houston when the fire dept. responded at the China consulate the fire fighters were not allowed in as the Chinese diplomats destroyed evidence, and in San Francisco when the Russians were booted from their consulate and the chimneys were working overtime. Seattle consulate too.
